Conclusion

Now that your experiment is over, you need to analyze your data and determine if your hypothesis was correct, was there variables that affect your results, and what could you do next by writing a conclusion. A conclusion is a summary of your experiment. Your hypothesis does not have to be correct; it is ok to not prove your hypothesis. Your conclusion should be at least one paragraph. Follow the guidelines bellow to create your conclusion:

  1. Restate your scientific question and why you conducted this experiment
  2. Restate your hypothesis and explain if the data supports your hypothesis
  3. Analyze the data and the experiment to determine if any variables could have affected the results.
  4. Explain what you could do to further or improve the experiment next time.
